Solid stainless steel T-molding is a T-shaped transition profile formed from thicker material than folded profiles, giving it greater rigidity and resistance to heavy foot traffic. It is used to bridge tile-to-tile and floor-to-floor joints and to finish exposed edges in commercial and residential interiors. WEIHAO METAL supplies solid T-molding in 304 stainless steel across models T4 to T15.
Because the profile is formed from thicker steel, solid T-molding keeps a straight, crisp edge where hinged or heavily used floors meet. Profile weight rises from about 90 g/m at T4 to 260 g/m at T15, so the wider sections feel noticeably more substantial and hold their shape across long runs.
Solid T-molding is supplied in 2.5 m lengths in widths of 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 15 mm, with heights of about 3.7 to 5 mm. Model, width, colour and weight per metre are listed in the Specifications tab above, and section drawings appear in the Dimensions tab.
The profile is set into the joint between two surfaces or fixed with adhesive over an existing edge, then cut to length on site. Colours, finishes, widths and heights can be customized, and 90-degree CNC bending produces straight corners with high precision. Compare the folded T-molding range if you need a lighter profile.
What sizes does solid T-molding come in?
Solid T-molding is available in models T4 to T15, with widths from 4 mm to 15 mm and heights of roughly 3.7 to 5 mm, supplied in 2.5 m lengths.
What is solid T-molding made of?
It is formed from 304 stainless steel, which is fade-proof and resistant to rust and stains. Brushed surfaces can be finished with a fingerprint-resistant nanolayer.
Why choose solid T-molding instead of folded?
Solid T-molding is formed from thicker material, so it is stronger and holds a straight edge better in heavy-traffic areas. Folded T-molding is lighter and suited to finish trims.
Where is solid T-molding used?
It is used for tile-to-tile and floor-to-floor transitions, stair nosings, and exposed edges of floors, wall panels and counters in commercial and residential interiors.
